4. Kauniainen leads combating climate change at the local level. Kauniainen supports its people in a sustainable way of living.City-owned buildings play a central role in promoting sustainable energy and material solutions. 
5. Every child is important.  Investing in every child and youth and giving them equal opportunities is fundamental for our social cohesion. We recognize and support all children in all language groups. The children in Kauniainen deserve good and healthy school buildings. Schools and daycare meals are tasty and follow nutritional recommendations. Safe routes to school. 
6. Enjoying sports and exercise with a low threshold. We have good bike and walking routes, a swimming hall and sports parks. The city cooperates with sports clubs to offer a variety of options. Grani-model means free options for sport and culture for young people. 
7. Services that recognize cultural diversity.  We have equal services in Finnish and Swedish. More use of AI translations in provided services. 
8. Kauniainen is a good place to work and do business. Strengthening the local economy provides sustainable jobs, strengthens social relationships and lowers impact on climate change. Circular economy is part of our everyday life. 
9. Sustainable transport. Cycling, walking and public transport should be a favorable alternative to all of us. Local and regional ticket prices should be reasonable, especially for young and retired persons. Car charging points and city bikes are available.
